REHABILITATION AND MAINTANENCE OF THE ORAL FUNCTION

Complete mouth rehabilitation aims to maintain the health of the entire stomatognathic system in addition to rebuilding and mending the destroyed dentition. The goal of full mouth rehabilitation should be to restore a state of functional and organic performance in which the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) mechanisms, the muscle tissues of mastication, and the enamel and their periodontal structures all function in unison. The aetiology of excessive occlusal tooth wear is complicated and variable, hence proper assessment as shown by definitive analysis is required.
